you should ask me about tupperbox tomfoolery actually

tupperbox tomfoolery (aka ‘tupper tomfoolery’ or just 'tupper’ for short) is a massive-multiplayer crossover between me and my friends. it’s based entirely within discord and relies on the proxy bot Tupperbox in order to work. We’ve been at it since… like… august? anyway i am so painfully hyperfixated it’s not even funny

most notable writing done by me, @raining13/@floursackbaby, @melmxrsh, @rustdream, and various other people whom I don’t know the urls of/don’t particularly feel like tagging. you can ask literally any of us anything if you want specifics

i am also available to dm on discord about it if you are friends with me and/or we have a mutual server

Ruby Bridges is 68. This is not ancient history. Not even close.

I know Ruby. She’s a really nice person. The idea that they would try and write what she did as a girl out of history is shocking to me on so many levels, the simplest of which is just, but don’t they know how lovely she is?

Ruby was in Tucson, AZ last Thanksgiving. I wasn’t able to attend due to illness, but I appreciated the opportunity.

ID screenshot of text, transcription: Musicians are not being treated the same way. Stability has a music generator that only uses royalty free music in their dataset. Their words: “Because diffusion models are prone to memorization and overfitting, releasing a model trained on copyrighted data could potentially result in legal issues.” Why is the work of visual artists being treated differently? end IDALT

you do not want copyright law to treat visual art in the same way that it treats music. you don’t want that. you really seriously truly do not fucking want that. I can’t emphasise enough how much you really do fucking not want that.

have you seen the limitations music reviewers have to adhere to on youtube to not have their content automatically claimed and the revenue siphoned to the record company? have you ever wanted to listen to death grips - exmilitary on spotify? speaking of spotify—have you seen how much of the profits actually make their way to the musicians? have you seen how much petty litigation goes on over similarities in basic melody and chord progression? or the excessively punitive response to piracy the music industry takes?

You Don’t Want That

It’s strange to me that “liminal spaces” got slapped with just being another way to say “creepy place” when “liminal”… doesn’t mean that at all. More than anything images of “liminal spaces” just sorta evoke that bittersweet side of nostalgia in me. Like seeing a mall that was once super busy be completely void of people.

It’s easy to see why images like these would get lumped into “creepy” circles, but these just stir up way more complicated, difficult-to-determine emotions than just “Ooo I’m spooked”

this is why it’s so annoying that the Backrooms got lumped into just another creepypasta monster playground; it’s about the impossible loneliness of a place that is designed for people who were not you.

straight guys are absurd. i once asked one if they’d kiss a boy for $50,000 and they said no. at that point it’s not even gay it’s just the best option

she’s a lesbian girl now if anyone wanted an update.
